You do nothing
Account is automatically paused. No bill, no auto-charge. Your data stays available for 12 months — login works, reading works, editing is locked. You can reactivate any time.
You walk away
One click on "Delete account". Before that: data export in one go (CSV / PDF / DATEV). Your data belongs to you, not us.
No auto-renewal. Period.
We don't charge because we can. We charge when you've actively clicked "Yes, this plan". Nothing happens before that. Not even after 6 months.

No. We don't ask for payment details at sign-up — we couldn't charge you if we wanted to. After 6 months you have to actively pick a plan, otherwise your account pauses. No hidden bill, no auto-renewal.
Your account is automatically set to pause mode: login works, reading works, editing is locked. Your data stays available for 12 more months. You can reactivate any time by picking a plan. After 12 months of pause data is deleted — we'll remind you in time by email.
You don't have to cancel — Meister-Start has no minimum term and no contract costs. If you don't want to continue, just let the account pause or actively delete it. Before deletion: data export (CSV / PDF / DATEV) in one go. Your data belongs to you.

Every German Chamber of Crafts. We don't have an official partner programme — we review every proof individually. Letters from Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Schwerin or Berlin are all equivalent. Even HwK confirmation emails without letterhead are accepted.
