Overview
Every order in Meistify can be assigned to a construction site. This helps you keep track of which work is happening where and which employees are scheduled.
Assigning an order to a site
There are two ways:
When creating an order
- Go to Orders → New order
- Select the desired site in the Construction site field
- Fill in the remaining fields and click Save
Assigning afterwards
- Open the existing order
- Click Edit
- Select or change the Construction site
- Click Save
An order can only be assigned to one construction site at a time. If you assign it to a different site, the previous assignment is removed.
Assigning employees
Employees are assigned via the order, not the construction site:
- Open the order
- In the Employees section, select the desired team members
- Assigned employees will see the order in their dashboard and can track time against it
Journeymen can only see orders and sites they've been assigned to. Don't forget to assign them so they can see their work.
